Firstly we need to start with a really big thankyou to everybody who as supported and believes in this remarkable young talented Mansfield youth. The presentation night was truely a big success and we achieved hitting our promised target to Oliver and his family.

Big congratulations to the live on air auction winner Andy Morgan for getting the x2 stags tickets for Saturdays home clash. The auction in total ended at £41.00. A fantastic amount of money raised and most importantly it goes towards the Oliver Pratley fund. Big well done Andy and cheer our team to glory this weekend.

Well a truley big day yesterday as Maunside took Oliver Pratley and his family to Nottingham for the day to visit Speedo HQ and Nottingham forest football club. 1st stop was speedo were Oliver was measured for his brand new kit to take to Taiwan in September and were we managed to have a game of pool and table football. In the design room we watched as the kit was made from scratch and personalised with Oliver's name on the kit. The swim shorts alone are worth around £170.00 which is truely fantastic.

Maunside Community Radio is dedicated to providing an interesting and entertaining internet service specifically for Mansfield, but of course will be available worldwide. Eventually, Maunside's ambition is to apply for a licence to broadcast on the FM band when frequencies become available.

Our volunteers will mentor young students from Rosebrook School in broadcasting skills but ALL members of the community are welcome to join us including senior citizens.
